I think it's safe to say, we all have these moments... the ones when we arrive at the bottom of the valley. At this point, I was 8 days into a project that should have taken one. A clean design took a wrong turn along the journey and quickly took me due south. Two small, yet utterly noticeable specs of paint are all that stood in my way from completing this project.
Oh unprimed canvas, how unforgiving of a substrate you are!!! I spent hours researching and testing every possible cure known to YouTube, but nothing could budge this stubborn stain. So with tears in my eyes I finally admitted defeat.
What felt like failure quickly transformed to a break through. Once I gave up control, this piece elevated from valley to mountain top!!! Instead of fighting the stain I went with it. I filled the bath tub with chai tea and coffee and prayed that I didn't just take the path of no return. After baking in the sun and a good steaming this sign was brought to a whole new level! Not only did it look better... but it smelled better too ;).
Always persevere, keep the faith, and always remember the bath tub moments can elevate us to higher heights.
